(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 20 - In the midst of the political chaos between Downing Street and Westminster, the 'bettors' seem to be the only ones to see clearly and are betting everything on Rishi Sunak, next British prime minister.
In fact, bookmakers give Sunak as a super favorite 11/10 as Liz Truss's successor.
Followed by Penny Mordaunt for 7/2 and Ben Wallace given 8/1.
Jeremy Hunt's chances also remain at 9/1, although the current Chancellor of the Exchequer has ruled out running for the Tory leadership.
For bettors, former premier Boris Johnson and Theresa May would also be on the track, respectively on 13/1 and 16/1.
Following Michael Gove at 31/1, Grant Shapps at 35/1 and Suella Braverman at 55/1.
