Spider-Man 2 will be released in 2023 – but also for the PS4?

Spider-Man 2 is high on PS5 owners' wish lists.
Will the game also be released on the old Playstation, the PS4?
Marvel's Spider-Man 2 premiered at the PlayStation Showcase in 2021.
The first part and the offshoot "Spider-Man: Miles Morales" were a great success.
Not many details are known about the sequel, but Sony and the developers of Insomniac Games have announced that Spider-Man 2 will be released in 2023.
This makes the game one of the PlayStation highlights of the coming year.
But what about a PS4 version?
Is this also planned, or is "Spider-Man 2" reserved exclusively for the newer and more powerful PS5?
Spider-Man 2: Will there also be a PS4 version?
Insomniac Games had already announced in 2021 that the game would be available exclusively on the PS5.
This rules out a release for the PS4.
The developers do not name the exact reasons for this, but it is probably due to the fact that the older console no longer meets the higher demands in terms of performance.
The problem, however, is that the PS5 is still not easy to get.
Sony would certainly exclude many players.
The availability of the PS5 is expected to improve in 2023 - in the USA there was probably a larger supply recently.
Is Spider-Man 2 coming out as a PC version?
So far, Insomniac has only confirmed that "Spider-Man 2" will be released for the PS5.
However, more and more PlayStation games are ending up on the PC, including "Spider-Man" and "Spider-Man: Miles Morales".
While it's currently unconfirmed, Spider-Man 2 could also make the leap.

When is the Wolverine game coming out?
In the tweet, Insomniac also mentions "Marvel's Wolverine," which will also be a PlayStation exclusive.
Apart from a short teaser trailer, the developers have not yet revealed any further details.
Since "Spider-Man 2" is already planned for 2023, the release of "Wolverine" is probably 2024 at the earliest.
