(ANSA) - MILAN, OCTOBER 25 - Severino Antinori, gynecologist and controversial 'pioneer' of assisted reproduction, was acquitted "because the fact does not exist".
This was decided by the Court of Milan which also acquitted him of other charges.
Antinori, definitively sentenced in 2020 to 6 years and 6 months for the well-known case of the 'egg robbery', had already been acquitted in other proceedings, including one for sexual abuse.
"The ordeal that Professor Antinori suffered was the result of an injustice that overwhelmed him for mere prejudice!", Commented the lawyer Gabriele Maria Vitiello.
