It seems that Madonna continues to have a complicated relationship with the current world of pop culture, and now she has tangled with colleague Cardi B.
This week marked the 30th anniversary of the release of her album "Erotica" and the book of nude photos that came out at the same time "SKS".
On the occasion of the occasion, the singer published a post on her Instagram, in which she talked about how the sexual openness she demonstrated in the early 90's was received.

"30 years ago I published a book called 'SEX'", Madonna wrote a few days ago in a story on her Instagram account.
'In addition to pictures of me naked, it included pictures of men kissing men, women kissing women and me kissing them all.
I also wrote about my sexual fantasies and shared my point of view about sexuality - in an ironic way.
I spent the next few years giving interviews to narrow-minded people who tried to shame me for my empowerment as a woman.
They called me names like 'whore', 'witch', 'devil' and more."

She also wrote: "Now Cardi B can sing about her WAP (name of Cardi's big hit, which deals with genitals; p.a.), Kim Kardashian can appear on the cover of any magazine with her butt exposed and Miley Cyrus can ride a wrecking ball ( That is - in revealing clothing, as she did when she went out to the party of that name).

The singer accompanied her words (which are not entirely inaccurate, it should be noted) with a somewhat defiant emoji of a clown, which seems to have provoked antagonism among one of those mentioned in them.
In response, Cardi B wrote on Twitter: "I made so many tributes to this woman because I listened to her growing up.
She can get her point across without posting clown emojis and running her mouth.
These icons really turn out to be disappointments once you make it in the industry.

The young star did pay tribute to those she sees as an influence model, among other things in the video that accompanied the song "Up", in which she is seen wearing a cone bra - similar to the iconic one worn by Madonna in the nineties.
Along with her words, Cardi shared an article published in Billboard in 2018, which deals with an Instagram post in which she talked about Madonna's influence on her and her first meeting with her, in which the Queen of Pop was revealed as a "positive person and a militant female character."
In a series of additional tweets, Cardi B responded to those who tried to explain to her that Madonna's words were not written as an insult, and explained herself that it was not the content of the words that bothered her, but the use of the word "bitches" and the general tone of the post.
"I understand exactly what she wrote and what she meant, but the issue is the way they were written," she wrote.
"Calling me 'bitches' and using a clown emoji?

This is not the first time that Madonna has gotten involved with young members of a community that she did a lot to promote in her prime.
In the summer of 2021, she was defined by LGBT people on the network as "outdated and lacking a grip on reality" due to a post in which she linked a kiss between the rapper Lil Naz X with one of his stage dancers, and the one between her and Britney Spears from 2004.
