Hats off to him: Eden Hasson knows how to strike the audience Israel today

2022-10-25T12:39:58.690Z

The dancers around the singer were an unsuccessful gimmick and the guest Idan Amadi stole the show, but the sequence of hits that Hassan performed in his performance at Menorah Hall proved that he knows how to make the viewers not remain indifferent to him - and even make them excited

Aden Hasson, who performed last night (Monday) at Menorah Hall in Tel Aviv in front of about 12,000 spectators, had three strengths: excitement, sincerity and the love of the audience.

This does not mean that he did not also have some weaknesses: he is a pop star who has not yet reached the required level of "popness" and Idan Amadi, whom he hosted at the concert, simply stole the show.

Although Hassan, who will also perform tonight in the same place and with the same concept of a 360-degree performance, has "amateur" playing and composing abilities, as he puts it, but the "amateur" has become a monster of excellent hits with an army of believers (and especially believers) around him.

Quite a few artists would give anything to get a little of that amateurism, and now he has also managed to turn Menorah Hall into his fortress - this is Hasson's sixth appearance at the venue in just two years.

The first half of the show was nothing short of amazing.

Hasson gave his all in the opening, where he performed the hit "I miss you", a sincere and deep song, with a precise melody that conveys the message in the sharpest possible way.

The first break came at the end of the third song, when the singer turned to the audience in search of his family members, whom he hugged with real excitement.

The performance of his huge hit "No More Clubs", which was one of the highlights of the evening, was also very successful and full of groove that did not leave any viewer indifferent in their seats.

At the end of that part, someone Hasson defined as a dear friend - Idan Amadi - took to the stage.

The one who was the highlight of the performance and one of its highlights, took the stage with great confidence, with which he knew how to lift the audience and unite the spectators into one unit.

His absolute control over the stage gave the show depth, emotion and above all a very great sense of pan.

The two performed Amadi's "Part of the Time" together, and then Hasson stepped off the stage to let Amadi sing "In the Last Time".

Amadi's solo allowed Hassan to separate the show into two clear halves, but for the moment it felt as if the owner of the stage had changed.

How exciting it was to see, and especially to hear, that the show was accompanied by a band that played everything live, something that is not obvious these days when many artists perform with playback.

However, the fact that the band was placed outside the stage, probably due to the open circular space, gave the feeling that the musicians were not given the respect they deserved, something that was felt especially in "melodic" moments such as during a guitar solo or a significant riff.

This does not mean for a moment that the band was not present in the arrangements, the sound and the extreme flexibility that can only be created in a live performance.

Later, Hasson carried out a blessed and beautiful initiative, when during his performance of his song "I have grown a bit old", he brought on stage several children who identified with the song, which deals with boycotts and childhood.

It's easy to be cynical about these moments, but Hasson's joint performance with the children was nothing short of moving.

Who owns the house?

A 360 degree show is tricky, and this was evident during the show.

The dancers who appeared on stage worked amazingly with the space they were given, but Hason, whose connection with the dancers around him seemed to be purely accidental, did not find himself, so much so that it seemed better to give up the idea.

Everything could have been tighter and less gimmicky.

But you have to take your hat off to Hason: as someone who performed earlier this year at Yarakon Park and as an expert in creating hits, he manages to reach without a problem a huge audience that is determined to shout the words of his songs at his performances, every time.

A fine hit monster.
