Snoop Dogg's love of marijuana is so strong and the rapper has been in the business for so long that his passion for the high may well be known well beyond the confines of the hip-hop world.
The fact that the West Coast veteran employs a person who rolls and glues joints for him is also not a current finding.
What is new, however, is how much this person has to do.
According to n-tv.de, Snoop Dogg's joint roller, who calls herself Renegade Piranha, reported on the Australian radio show "Kyle & Jackie O Show" from "75 to 150 joints" a day.
However, she admitted to presenter duo Kyle Sandilands and Jackie "O" Henderson that not all of the bags are intended for Snoop Dogg.
She also has other clients.
Overall, she estimates she's rolled over 450,000 joints.
How many of those for Snoop Dogg?
That remains open.
Renegade Piranha recently reported on the curious hiring process in a podcast.
The stoner image is a characteristic of the 51-year-old rapper, who made his breakthrough in 1993 with the album "Doggystyle".
And in his home town of Long Beach, Snoop Dogg can indulge his vice carefree, because private consumption of marijuana is legal in California, as it is in many other states.
