The theatrical readings curated by Giulia Cogoli return to the Intesa Sanpaolo skyscraper in Turin, after the appointments with Daniel Pennac and Paolo Rumiz in recent years.

The protagonist of the event is Benedetta Tobagi, who on Tuesday 25 October at 9pm presents the theatrical reading 'The Resistance of Women', created in collaboration with Giulio Einaudi Editore for a co-production by Intesa Sanpaolo and The Italian Literary Agency, and from the homonymous book coming out these days.


    The show traces in a historically accurate and documented way, but also poetic and with great civil passion, the events of those women too often forgotten, but whose contribution was fundamental in the season from September 1943 to the end of the Second World War.

On stage, together with Benedetta Tobagi, actress Anna Bonaiuto who, accompanied by Giulia Bertasi's accordion, gives voice to the women protagonists of the Resistance through memories, diaries, letters, testimonies, photographs identified in collaboration with the Institute for the History of Resistance of Turin.

The dramaturgy is made in collaboration with Lorenzo Pavolini, who also signs the direction.


    The event, which can be followed in deferred streaming on Wednesday 26 October at 4:30 pm on the website https://group.intesasanpaolo.com and on ansa.it, is one of the cultural activities of the bank's skyscraper which over the years have already were followed by over 125,000 people.
