During a "League of Legends" live stream, a Twitch streamer was apparently broken into and allegedly defended himself with gunshots.

Along with YouTube, Twitch is one of the most popular video portals where users upload their own content or broadcast it live.

Most of these are so-called "Let's Plays", in which the streamers play popular video games while chatting with the viewers.

The webcam is usually activated so that you can see not only the gameplay, but also the reactions of the streamer.

From time to time strange incidents occur, which are then recorded live on video.

For example, a noisy Apex Legends player suddenly had the police show up in his room during a broadcast a while ago.

Another incident happened a few days ago on the twitch streamer “MattDamnit”.

He allegedly stopped a burglary at his home during a live stream.

Twitch streamer allegedly shot burglars in the live stream

"MattDamnit" was in the middle of streaming a round of the popular online game "League of Legends".

About ten minutes into the broadcast, the streamer was seen walking away from his camera after hearing a suspicious noise from another room.

A little later, four dull noises were heard, which were allegedly pistol shots.

After the riot, "MattDamnit" ended without addressing the incident.

The

reported on the incident and shared a snippet of the live stream on Twitter.

Was the burglary staged?

Viewers have doubts

It is unclear what exactly happened after that.

Apparently, the streamer seems to be doing well.

He took to his Twitter account some time after the alleged break-in, writing, "Man, you're really damned if things are going well." He hasn't provided any further updates since then.

Since the entire incident took place off-camera, many viewers have expressed doubts about the authenticity of the incident.

With this action he could have increased his number of followers from around 700.

However, the fact that he has not commented on it since then speaks against it.
