Minister Matteo Piantedosi
The Committee for Public Order and Safety, chaired by the new minister Matteo Piantedosi, shared the need to launch initiatives at European level with the countries of origin and transit of migrants for a common management of the migratory phenomenon that would allow to govern the flows through the strengthening of legal entry channels, which take into account, in the distribution of quotas reserved for individual states, the commitment they have made in combating illegal immigration.
A short table convened shortly will be called to translate a series of information elements acquired this morning into operational indications.
