(ANSA) - ROME, OCTOBER 27 - Telephone conversation between the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, and the General Secretary of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg.
President Meloni reiterated that the Atlantic Alliance is indispensable to defend the security and common values that characterize Western identity.

Meloni reaffirmed full support for Ukraine against Russian aggression and the importance, from a global approach, of strengthening NATO's commitment to tackling threats of various kinds coming from all strategic directions, including the challenges of the South. Finally, President Meloni expressed the hope of being able to meet Secretary General Stoltenberg soon and personally.
