"Raving Rishi" is the name given by Internet users to this funny buzz: a man resembling the new British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak appears in a video dancing shirtless and glass in hand on a beach of Ibiza.
Originally posted on July 12, 2019 on Instagram by Wayne Lineker, a businessman with a sulphurous reputation and owner of the O Beach Club, the video really went viral when it was reposted on this same account in January 2022, after the announcement of the reopening of clubs in Ibiza for the spring.
It was posted for a third time last July, along with the caption: “@rishisunakmp trying to win over the crowds in Ibiza by campaigning for votes today.”

And this video has surfaced again since Rishi Sunak became the 57th tenant of 10 Downing Street on Monday, October 25.
However, the British media agree that the man presented is actually a lookalike.
It is hard to believe that the political figure of importance across the Channel for several years now indulges in such letting go in front of a camera.
Also, at the time of this first broadcast, Rishi Sunak who claims not to drink alcohol, appeared to be in the UK, not Ibiza.
If the image does not make it possible to precisely determine the identity of the person, certain elements such as the shape of his face or his ears, would also prevent him from being confused with the current Prime Minister.

for his part clarified that "the true identity of the man on the video remains a mystery".
The main interested party has not yet reacted to these images.
Rishi Sunak is Britain's third prime minister this year and the youngest for two centuries.
He is also the first person of color to rule the country.
Although his victory was hailed as historic and celebrated by the Indian diaspora, many in Britain see the arrival of this former Goldman Sachs analyst as a bad omen.
His wife Akshata Murty, the heiress of Infosys, holds a considerable fortune.
Many believe that Sunak would not be able to understand the problems of the population.
