"From Grandma": in photo, a letter from Queen Elizabeth II to Prince William resurfaces

Prince William and the Queen had a great bond. Witness a letter from the sovereign to her grandson, revealed on October 25 on Twitter.


The United Kingdom is still mourning the disappearance of Queen Elizabeth II, who died at the age of 96, on September 8.

Two days after the Queen's death, Prince William, then Duke of Cambridge, broke the silence by sharing a statement on his Instagram account.

“The world has lost an extraordinary leader, whose commitment to her country, her kingdoms and the Commonwealth was unparalleled.

So much will be said in the days to come about the importance of his historic reign,” he wrote.

And to continue: "I have benefited from the wisdom and comfort of the queen during my fifth decade".
