A robber disguised as a woman is said to have robbed a watch shop in Berlin with two accomplices.
The men threatened an employee with a gun, a police statement said.
Now investigators are looking for witnesses.
The incident happened on February 8th.
Around 5:40 p.m., one of the alleged perpetrators is said to have been waiting at the door of the watch manufacturer "Hublot" on Kurfürstendamm and persuaded an employee to open the door for him.
The man was dressed as a woman, had long dark hair, and it may have been a wig.
He also wore a dark quilted jacket, dark blue jeans, white athletic shoes and an orange tote bag "similar to a Louis Vuitton handbag," the statement said.
As soon as the door was open, the man threatened the clerk with a gun and gained access to the sales room for himself and his two accomplices, who rushed to the scene.
The men are said to have smashed several showcases with hammers and stolen a large number of watches.
They then fled on foot in the direction of Wielandstrasse, across Olivaer Platz to Bayerische Strasse, where they boarded a silver Audi A4 Avant.
The escape vehicle was found a day later on Wittelsbacher Strasse.
Police are now looking for witnesses who may have information about the robbery.
The perpetrators are all described as male and between 1.80 and 1.85 meters tall.
They were about 25 to 30 years old.
The perpetrator, dressed as a woman, wore a medical mask, the other two had pulled a cloth with a clown's mouth in front of their face.
