There are horrendous deposit vouchers to be seen again and again.

But that of a Kaufland customer is really record-breaking.

Worms - Stately deposit vouchers always cause amazement on the Internet.

With 8-cent bottles, it also takes quite a while to get a decent amount.

It's faster with 25-cent containers.

But even then, average consumers tend to end up in the low double-digit range.

However, tz.de

reported again and again about exceptions: If a thirsty punk band has destroyed larger amounts of beer, 60 euros are achieved.

A Munich resident left a Kaufland branch with a deposit of 272.12 euros.

Just above that was a customer who prompted a Rewe employee to make an "I hate people" statement.

Has this reached the end of the road?

No!

Kaufland customer returns deposit for 415.94 euros

Because now a Kaufland customer has publicly posted a deposit receipt on Facebook that tops the extreme examples above.

"Given a deposit again," she writes - and of course knows exactly that the note does not document a normal "I'll take away a handful of bottles" action.

But is a great eye-catcher.

She received 415.94 euros

on October 27th in the Kaufland branch in Worms (Rhineland-Palatinate) for empties!

"New record," she boasts in the comments.

Of course, the authenticity of the note has not been confirmed, but it really doesn't look like a fake.

“Age”, writes a Facebook user there only.

"What do they say at the checkout?" Another user wants to know.

"We just looked stupid," is the answer.

The question of how so much deposit comes about remains unanswered, at least under the post.

Unlike another that is raised.

Kaufland customer stored bottles in the bathroom

"I'm just wondering where you always store the bottles?" Says one user.

"In the lower bathroom" is the answer.

"Cool.

Is that then filled to the ceiling?” - “Yeah, something like that.” The Kaufland customer must have been busy at the empties machine for a while on that October 27th.

A “historic” receipt from 1996 is also making waves on the internet.
