The 44-year-old cyclist, who was critically injured in a traffic accident in Wilmersdorf last Monday, died in a hospital.
This is reported by the Berlin police.
Police investigations led to the arrest of a suspect in Wilmersdorf on Wednesday evening, who is said to have attacked and injured the truck driver involved in the accident with a knife.
The crew of an emergency vehicle arrested the 48-year-old at around 8:30 p.m. in Bundesallee and took him to police custody for identification purposes.
He is scheduled to appear before a judge later today.
