(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 04 - The Civil Protection issued an orange alert on some sectors of Sicily and Calabria for tomorrow.

Furthermore, the yellow alert was assessed in Molise, Campania, Puglia, Basilicata, on some sectors of Abruzzo and in the remaining territories of Calabria and Sicily.


    The frontal system of Atlantic origin, due to the phase of bad weather along the Italian peninsula, tends to move further towards the south, affecting the remaining part of the South where, starting from today evening, scattered to widespread rainfall, including thunderstorms, and a generalized reinforcement are expected. of northern ventilation.


    The notice foresees from today evening, Friday 04 November, scattered to diffuse rainfall, also of a reverse or thunderstorm character, on Sicily, in extension from tomorrow's early hours to Puglia, starting from the central-southern sectors of the region.

The phenomena will be accompanied by strong showers, frequent electrical activity and strong gusts of wind.


    From today evening strong to stormy winds are expected over Sicily, with gusts of strong storms on the western and southern sectors and on the hills of the island, initially from the south-west and tending to rotate from the north-west from tomorrow afternoon, Saturday 05 November.

Storm surges are expected along the exposed coast.

From tomorrow afternoon, strong gale winds are also expected, from the northern quadrants, on Umbria, Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania and Puglia, with gusts up to strong aburrasca on the coastal areas of Molise, Gargano and Crinalia Apennines, with storm surges along the exposed coasts .
