The Peruvian-American author Daniel Alarcón, born in Lima but raised in the United States, talks this Friday at the Hay Festival in Arequipa with the journalist Inés Santaeulalia, head of the EL PAÍS office for Colombia, Venezuela and the Andean region.
The talk will address Alarcón's work as a teacher at Columbia University in New York, the creation of the Radio Ambulante and El Hilo podcasts.
