Messenger WhatsApp introduces a “community” function.
This allows people who are together in their multiple groups to organize them better.
Munich – Nowadays almost everyone who has a smartphone uses WhatsApp to send messages.
While you write regularly with your best friends or closest relatives, activity in some groups is rather low.
With other groups, one wonders anyway why they were actually created, since there are almost the same members in another group.
With a new function, WhatsApp is now giving its users the chance to bring more order into the group confusion.
WhatsApp: New community function is to be made available to users in the coming months
As the messenger announced on Thursday (November 3rd), so-called communities will be introduced in the near future.
"Communities like neighborhoods, parents at a school, and businesses can now bring multiple groups together in one place to organize group conversations on WhatsApp," the messenger said.
The update should be available to every user in the next few months.
WhatsApp wants to simplify the organization of groups with a new update.

WhatsApp: Groups with the same people can be organized through the community function
There will be a new tab in the app for this purpose, which users can use to either create a new community or add to an existing group.
The innovation is primarily intended to enable a group of people who are in several different groups to organize themselves better.
For example, friends can make multiple groups on different topics but find them all in one place.
The user can easily switch back and forth between the different groups in a community.
Admins can also send important updates to all members of the community.
In the summer of 2022, the messenger already introduced an update that allows users to make themselves and their activities completely invisible to others.
Recently, rumors have also been circulating that WhatsApp could add paid features to its app in the future.
