The Winchesters and Walker - Independence: What's next for the two series?

The turning point at the network "The CW" continues.

It is now clear that the two reboots "The Winchesters" and "Walker: Independence" will each only have 13 episodes in their first seasons.

A sequel is possible, but like everything in the small network with new owners, currently uncertain.

Once you could almost be sure that most of the series on "The CW" would not only be extended, but even included up to 24 episodes, but that has changed with the new owners "Nexstar".

The current fall reboots The Winchesters (see the cast here), a spin-off from the long-running hit Supernatural, and Walker: Independence, a spin-off from Walker, will only get 13 episodes each in their debut seasons.

Thus, there will be no so-called back-nine-order for either format, which could bring a season to 22 episodes - the previous season value of many network series.

Nevertheless, there could be second seasons if Nexstar wants them.
