The future of grassroots sport, after a pandemic and global crisis, passes through change: youth policies, global sustainability and gender equality are the keys to restructuring the sector that, in the world, has been among the most penalized by the isolation imposed by Covid .

This is the topic of the World Amateur Sports Forum, entitled “Sport Impacts All” which Rome will host on 11 November in the Tirreno room of the Lazio Region.


The meeting is promoted by the International Confederation of Sport for All and is organized in Italy by the sports promotion body AiCS (Italian Association of Sports Culture): it enjoys the patronage of the Lazio Region and of Sport and Health.

At the Forum the top leaders of Italian sport will meet together with European technicians and some good basic sport practices in the post Covid world will be presented, relating to the three areas of intervention for young people, green sport, and the role of women in sport.

The conference will be moderated by channel 5 journalist Simona Branchetti and will be attended by: the president of AiCS and CSIT Bruno Molea, Michele Sciscioli of the Government's Sports Department,


president of Sport and Health Vito Cozzoli, the president of CONI Giovanni Malagò, the president of the CIP Luca Pancalli, the head of the Sport Unit of Sport Unit, European Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (EACEA) Luciano Di Fonzo, and Ivo Ferriani , president of GAISF,


the global association of international sports federations, of which CSIT is a member.

The proceedings - translated into English and French and broadcast in live streaming - will also open with greetings from the president of the International Olympic Committee Thomas Bach.
