The most famous handball in football history

In 1986, in the quarter-finals of the soccer World Cup in Mexico, the legendary Aztec stadium experienced an even more legendary moment in sports history: The "Hand of God", Diego Maradona's notorious and irregular goal against the English, which nevertheless endured in the age before video evidence.

Now the ball that the late Argentinian icon kicked into the goal is going to go under the hammer: it will be auctioned on November 16, with proceeds of three million pounds expected.
