For the first time in her life, the tallest woman in the world boarded a flight, after Turkish Airlines adapted one of its planes so that it would be possible to fly someone who is 2.15 meters tall.
Earlier this year, Romeisa Galgi officially received the title of "World's Tallest Woman".
Most of the time she has to get around using a wheelchair or a walker.
This is due to the fact that her height is due to Weaver syndrome, a medical condition that causes excessive growth.
Due to her height, 24-year-old Gelgi could never fly on a plane since she could not use the normal seats, not even in her childhood.
But recently she did, while flying from her native Turkey to San Francisco.
This is thanks to the changes made as mentioned by Turkish Airlines in one of its planes.

"It was a perfect flight"
The company removed six seats, and the space that was freed up was used to insert a long stretcher that was built especially for the purpose, and made up a gurney to comfortably transport the long flight.
After landing in California, she wrote on her Instagram account: "It was a perfect flight, from start to finish... It was my first flight but it certainly won't be my last... Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who took part in it."
The Daily Mail reports that the young woman flew to San Francisco to promote her career in the field of software development, but she is also supposed to collaborate with "Guinness World Records", in order to promote various events.
The Daily Mail reports that at the beginning of the year, upon receiving the official Guinness world record, Galgi said: "Every disadvantage can become an advantage, so accept yourself as you are, be aware of your potential and do your best."
This is the second time that Galgi has achieved a world record.
The last time was in 2014, when she received the title of "the tallest girl in the world".
Since then, she usually uses the publicity she won, with the aim of supporting those who suffered from rare syndromes.

"Being different is not as bad as you think"
"Being different is not as bad as you think. It can bring you unexpected success," Galgi told reporters last month.
"I personally believe that if you want it and make an effort to do so, you can turn certain differences and features that are seen as disadvantages into advantages. This is exactly what I did."
Craig Glenday, Editor-in-Chief at Guinness, said: "It's an honor to welcome Romeissa back into the record books. Her fortitude and ability to stand out are an inspiration. The 'World's Tallest Living Woman' category is not one that changes often, so I'm thrilled to share this news." .

She also has the longest arms in the world
The tallest man in the world, Sultan Kusan, is also Turkish - he stands 2.51 meters tall.
Gelgi says that she hopes to meet him in person.
Before Galgali, the title was held by Zeng Jinlian from China, whose height was 246.3.
She died in 1982.
Gelgi also broke the records for the woman with the world's longest fingers, the world's longest arms, and the world's longest back.
