El Al will start operating direct flights to Dublin, Ireland, starting this March.
The company will operate three flights a week to Dublin, on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, using a 737 aircraft that includes two service classes - tourist and business.
As part of the launch, El Al will offer special prices starting at $399 for a round trip.
On the occasion of the launch, Playcard customers will receive an improved points ratio through CASH&POINTS.
According to Dina Ben Tal-Ganansia, CEO of El Al: "We are excited to finally launch the new destination that will allow Israelis to reach the capital of Ireland directly.
A large Israeli community lives in Dublin, mainly high-tech people who work in international tech companies that established their offices in Dublin as a response to Europe and the Middle East.
They and their families will now be given the option of direct flights to Dublin.
Also, Ireland is a country with a large percentage of Catholics, which makes it a potential source of inbound tourism to Israel for pilgrims and clergy.
