This was stated by the Minister of Economy Giancarlo Giorgetti, questioned by the Eurogroup about the willingness to adopt common tools in the EU against expensive energy.
On the reform of the EU Stability Pact, Giorgetti invoked "simplicity" and "feasibility", explaining: "we are waiting for the Commission proposal. There are rumors, surely there should be some steps forward".
The minister, when asked about Italy's debt, said "of course everyone must do their part and Italy must do their part and will do it" and when asked about the ratification of the Mes said "we confirm the same thing" of the previous government.
