Yellow bin: spooky voice from within

When a 14-year-old from Ludwigslust wanted to dispose of his garbage on Saturday, he was "mighty scared," as the local police put it in their press release.
The reason: the teenager heard a voice from inside the recycling container.
Someone had addressed him directly.
The highly irritated youth told his mother about it, who then alerted the police.
When the officers arrived on site, the facts were quickly clarified: an obviously drunk man climbed out of the yellow plastic bin when spoken to, with a backpack on his back.
The 43-year-old explained to the police that he had missed the last train in the direction of Brandenburg.
He then decided to bridge the waiting time until the next train in the morning in the recycling container.
The unusual behavior apparently had no serious consequences: after the incident had been clarified, the 43-year-old was able to continue on his way, according to the police.
Again and again there are reports of bizarre incidents with garbage containers.
In 2016, police officers in Bremen discovered a man whose legs were sticking out of a dumpster.
The officers assumed it was theft and took pictures of it.
It later emerged that the 52-year-old had fallen into the container while searching for an accidentally discarded laptop cable.
