(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 07 NOV - Russian businessman near the Kremlin, Yevgeny Prigozhin, known as 'Putin's cook', admitted on Monday that he had "meddled" in the American elections, on the eve of an important mid-term vote in the United States, where Moscow has been accused of interference for years.
"We have interfered, we are interfering and will continue to do so. In an accurate, precise, surgical way, in a way that is unique to us," Prigozhin said in a social media post from his company Concord.
Prigozhin is subjected to US sanctions for his alleged role in meddling in the 2016 presidential elections. (ANSA).
