(ANSA) - MOSCOW, 07 NOV - About 50,000 mobilized Russian soldiers are already assigned to combat units in Ukraine, out of a total of about 80,000 sent to the area of the so-called special military operation.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin quoted by the Interfax agency.
On October 28, when the partial mobilization operations were declared over, Putin said that there were 41,000 in the fighting units.
On November 4, the president said that in total the number of those mobilized had reached the figure of 318,000, including the volunteers.
