A possible Rewe breakdown is making the rounds on the Internet: With a trick, a product is not only free, you even get money out of it.

No wonder online sites are booming where special deals are doing the rounds.

On the mydealz.de portal, users can show others their discoveries.
An unusual trick has now appeared there: According to the information, customers can get a product from Rewe for free - and even get money out of it.
Even if "only" a cent.

The trick should probably only be used with a bad conscience.
When companies actively give away products, people are welcome to buy them.
It doesn't look like it's on purpose here.
"By combining two coupons from the current Couponplatz campaign, you get a pack of Cevapcici Greenforce for -0.01€!!", writes the deal creator.

In the user comments, it is noticeable that not everyone is into vegan cevapcici - the old saying "I wouldn't even take it for free" drips from some posts.
"I don't even want that crap for free with the ingredients" and "Not even for free," write the users.
Another really pulls from the leather: "Once tried vegan minced meat and almost had to throw up.
Was that awesome.
Sausage is sausage and vegan is vegan.
Whoever lacks 'meat' should eat meat.
All the additives are inferior to good vegan nutrition.”

A few customers probably tried the trick on November 1st - with varying degrees of success.
"It worked again this morning at the self-service checkout" and "still works without any problems," write some.
And another says: "In my Rewes there has only been one coupon for days.
Both are recognized by the system, but only €1.50 is deducted once.
Too bad.

Incidentally, the deal on the site is linked to the call to exploit it inconspicuously: "Please try not to have the amount paid out, but buy something small, otherwise the error will be corrected very quickly."
Has Rewe become aware of the problem in the meantime?
Possibly by the tz.de request at the latest - because of course we asked the company for a statement.
