St. Martin
's day
with a temporary increase in pressure, then over the weekend a
cyclonic vortex filled with cold air
will cross Italy.
Antonio Sanò, director of the site iLMeteo.it, explains that normally the vortices that drive the perturbations on Italy have a west-east direction, while the one on the weekend will move
from east to north
.
The trajectory could change and therefore also the expected rainfall could affect areas other than those expected.
Broadly speaking, the vortex will arrive
in the South on Saturday afternoon / evening
and the weather will worsen over
Puglia, Basilicata, Ionian Calabria and south-eastern Sicily, thunderstorms are expected.
Bora and Grecale winds will blow over Italy
with a drop in temperatures
.
On Sunday, rainfall
will rise towards the Center , hitting the
Adriatic regions
more intensely , then reaching Emilia Romagna and the North.
The vortex will then reach
France
.
From next week a
strong disturbance is expected on Italy
starting from
the north-western regions.
A very unstable phase will begin for many regions with widespread rainfall that could also present itself in the form of a
storm or in the worst case of flash floods,
especially on
Liguria and Tuscany
.
The disturbance will bring the
snow back to the Alps
, where it will also fall
abundantly below 1800 meters.
