Fans have had to wait a full two years for The Crown to return.

Last week, the hit series reported to Netflix, where the basic subscription with advertising has been available from EUR 4.99 since November, and is finally back with the fifth season and, like after the second season, brought with it a complete change of actors, to show the aging process of the protagonists more realistically.

The 66-year-old actress has made a name for herself on stage as well as in films and television.

She played Dolores Umbridge in the Harry Potter films and was nominated for a Best Actress Oscar in 2004 for her performance in Vera Drake.

She also starred in the two Downton Abbey films as Lady Maud Bagshaw.

She is also known from the British comedies Antonia and Jane, Peter's Friends and Much Ado About Nothing.

She has appeared in serial roles in Psychoville, the miniseries A Confession, and the AppleTV comedy Trying.
