Today, the Ministry of Education signed a memorandum of understanding with the Haneen Charitable Association, which aims to enhance cooperation in the fields of training and the establishment of educational courses.
The memorandum was signed by the Director of Planning and International Cooperation, Ghassan Shugari, on behalf of the Ministry, and the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Nasr Al-Hayek, on behalf of the Association.
The terms of the memorandum, which was signed by the Minister of Education, Dr. Darem Tabaa, focus on providing support in the field of rehabilitation and general maintenance of schools, implementing educational sessions and vocational training courses, providing school equipment, and organizing activities related to promoting public hygiene, health awareness, and psychosocial support sessions.
It is noteworthy that the Haneen Charity Association was established on February 15, 2015, and provides services to needy groups in addition to supporting voluntary initiatives.
