(ANSA-AFP) - PARIS, DECEMBER 24 - The 69-year-old Frenchman suspected of killing three Kurds yesterday and wounding three others near a Kurdish cultural center in Paris said during his arrest that he acted because he is "racist".
This was reported by a source close to the dossier, specifying that the man, a retired train driver who opened fire shortly before noon in rue d'Enghien, in the tenth arrondissement of the French capital, had next to him a briefcase containing "two or three loaded magazines , a box of .45 cartridges with at least 25 cartridges inside".
The weapon used is a "worn looking" US Army "1911 Colt 45".
