    Quelles plaques consomment le plus : vitrocéramique, induction ou gaz ?

    Si pour certaines personnes, cuisiner est une nécessité, pour d’autres, il s’agit d’un véritable plaisir. À condition d’avoir les bons équipements. Parmi eux, il y a bien sûr les plaques de cuisson. Ces dernières sont indispensables pour saisir les viandes ou encore confectionner des plats en sauce ou mijotés. Pour se faciliter la vie, il est important de choisir les bonnes plaques de cuisson. Plusieurs critères sont à prendre en compte, à commencer par leur consommation en énergie. En ce qui concerne les plaques de cuisson électriques, deux modèles sont particulièrement répandus : les plaques vitrocéramiques et les plaques à induction. Sachez que ce sont celles à induction qui sont les moins énergivores. En effet, selon l’ADEME (l’Agence De l’Environnement et de la Maîtrise de l’Énergie), les plaques à induction consommeraient 20 % moins d’électricité que les vitrocéramiques. Cela s’explique par plusieurs raisons :

    Leur puissance : elle est comprise entre 2000 et 3000 watts pour les plaques à induction contre entre 1200 et 2100 pour celles vitrocéramiques. Les premières sont donc plus efficaces et cuisent plus rapidement les aliments ;

    La détection : les plaques à induction ne chauffent que si elles détectent la présence d’une poêle ou d’une casserole, tandis que les vitrocéramiques peuvent chauffer « dans le vide ». La consommation électrique n’est donc pas autant optimisée.

    Induction hobs will generally be more expensive to purchase, but the difference will quickly pay for itself.

    In addition, there are more and more frying pans, saucepans and other utensils, compatible with all fires.

    Let's now look at the case of gas hobs, which are known to require low energy consumption.

    They also offer very flexible cooking and are also very popular with professionals and popular in restaurant kitchens.

    Their power can reach 3800 watts.
