Death of Maxi Jazz, co-founder of the trip-hop group Faithless

The musician and former lead singer of the British outfit died on December 23 at the age of 65, his friends announced on social media.


Maxi Jazz, the discreet prince of trip-hop and ex-singer of British electronic music group Faithless, has died at the age of 65, the group announced this weekend.

The artist, real name Maxwell Fraser, died at his home in south London, according to the group.

The causes of death were not specified.

"We are heartbroken to report that Maxi Jazz died peacefully in his sleep last night,"
