Although she did not expand and provide details regarding the specific issue that was brought to her attention, many in the network believe that she refers to the issue of the rights of the LGBTQ community in the country. The show in which the musician was supposed to take part was produced by the Polish Public Broadcasting Corporation TVP, which in recent years has been accused of inciting hatred and broadcasting Propaganda against the community.

Melanie C is a well-known LGBTQ advocate whose work for gay and lesbian rights was recognized at last year's British LGBTQ Awards.
Poland, as we know, adopts a conservative policy when it comes to the rights of the members of the LGBT community in the country. Certain areas of the country are defined as "LGBT-free", when the members of the community are pushed to the margins of society in the country and their basic rights are denied to them.
