A truly cute baby elephant from Thailand bathed in a tub for the first time.

A YouTube video of it wows viewers.

Chiang Mai (Thailand) - Cuter than animal videos?

That's hardly possible.

And you know it: If things are not going so well, a look into the endless world of animal films can help.

This also applies to the video posted by the "elephantnews" channel on YouTube.

It shows a baby elephant daring to bathe in a tub for the first time.

How did it work?

Under the observation of another elephant, possibly the mother, the four-legged friend first needed a little before he managed to make his way over the edge into the tub.

Then the baby stood in the water with its still tender feet and groped around a little clumsily before climbing out of the bathtub again.

Baby elephant Chaba splashes in the water for the first time

And then it gets playful: Chaba, that's the name of the mini elephant, took a run-up and ran towards the bathtub.

Once there, the baby animal splashed with joy in the water with its trunk.

When he then tried to get back into the tub, it happened: Chaba fell backwards.

But the baby elephant didn't give up and was back on its four legs in no time at all.

Chaba captures the hearts of viewers online

A 56-second video that wowed viewers online.

"Too sweet.

I can't get enough of the video," one commented on YouTube.

Another user saw it similarly: "Awwww, how cute!".

Another user said: "The sweet, innocent smile.

It teaches me to smile in the most difficult of circumstances!

Let's learn from these cute little creatures to always be happy.”

The video, which was uploaded back in August 2021, is said to have come from northern Thailand near the city of Chiang Mai.

The animals are apparently kept in an appropriate manner there, which is not a matter of course.
