(ANSA) - LONDON, 06 JAN - A top Taliban leader has attacked Prince Harry for how he described in his autobiography entitled 'Spare - The Minor' the killing of 25 enemies when he was employed as an Apache pilot in Afghanistan.

    Anas Haqqani wrote on the his Twitter profile: "Mr. Harry!

Those he killed weren't chess pieces, they were human;

they had families who were waiting for their return".

    In the book the Duke of Sussex revealed that he killed 25 "Taliban" in combat stating that he did not consider them "people" but "chess pieces" who had been eliminated.

   Harry also explained that he did not feeling satisfaction for what has been done but not even ashamed.

    However, the prince's sentences have also raised controversy in the military circles of the United Kingdom.

For retired Colonel Richard Kemp, former commander of British troops in Afghanistan, it is particularly dangerous to assert the idea that His Majesty's soldiers see their enemies as "less than human", as they are thus exposed to possible attacks during missions abroad.
