“Stripped from the script”
A source close to royalty told the newspaper that Prince Harry would not play any official role during the event, which will take place on May 6 at Westminster Abbey.
“Prince Harry has been removed from the script for the coronation, and will play no official role during the ceremony, if he attends, tweeted Roya Nikkhah, the royal correspondent who collected this information.
Charles will break with tradition, which wants the dukes to kneel to pay homage to the monarch.
Only William will fulfill this role.”
For his part, Prince Harry indicated that he did not yet know if he would attend the event.
But sources close to the duke suggest that he could still decide to go to the ceremony.
