(ANSA) - STRASBOURG, 18 JAN - The Luxembourg socialist and MEP Marc Angel was elected vice president of the Eurochamber at the second call in place of Eva Kaili, who was arrested for Qatargate.
The necessary absolute majority, in the second round, was 296. Angel took 307 votes, followed by Northern League Annalisa Tardino (185 votes) and Green Gwendoline Delbos-Corfield, who obtained 98 votes.
In the first round Angel had not reached the quorum.
