Over 75,000 consumer complaints, 25,000 of which in Italy.

These are the results of the Cicle programme, presented in Brussels at the headquarters of the consumer organization Test Achats.

The project, in which Altroconsumo participated together with the Spanish consumer organization Ocu, made it possible to create the digital platform "Reclama facile", with the aim of improving market surveillance by strengthening cooperation between consumer organizations and institutions.

Thanks to the birth of the platform, Altroconsumo has tackled violations of consumer law at national and EU level, monitoring complaints based on the nature of the problem, identifying what are the trends in their management by companies, also mapping the absence of answers.

Out of over 76,000 reports received in eight months (between May and December 2022), over half (34,000) received a response, with two cases reported to the authorities.

In the coming years, the platform will be updated and improved and will also include other European associations.
