(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, FEBRUARY 01 - The European Union's training mission is becoming more ambitious.
In fact, the final target is growing and will go from the 15,000 soldiers envisaged when the mission was decided last October to "at least 30,000".
This was announced by a senior European official.
Among these there will also be the tankmen needed to lead the "high number of tanks" that Ukraine's partners will make available by the spring.
Another component - which will be announced during the EU-Ukraine summit - will be "a strong commitment" for the demining of large parts of the territory.
