(ANSA) - JUBA, 03 FEB - The Pope, in Juba, launches a strong appeal to the political leaders who continue to wage war against each other.
"Mr President, Gentlemen Vice-Presidents, in the name of God, of the God we prayed together in Rome, of the meek and humble God in whom so many people of this dear country believe, it is time to say enough, without 'ifs' and without 'buts': no more bloodshed, no more conflicts, no more violence and mutual accusations such as those who commit them, enough to leave the people thirsting for peace.
No more destruction, it's time for construction! Throw the time of war behind you and let a new time arise of peace!".
