The Ukrainian state TV reports that six aerial targets were intercepted over Kiev during the latest air alert and that most were shot down.
"About six air targets were recorded in the airspace of Kiev during the alert, most of which were shot down by air defense systems," the city administration said.
"According to unconfirmed information, these would have been balloons that could carry reconnaissance equipment, perhaps launched to detect anti-aircraft defences," he said, citing the military administration of the city of Kiev.
