(2021), an eco-friendly film by Adam McKay, in which Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence tried to warn humanity of its imminent end, this show by Scott Z. Burns (

Contagion

) evokes a near future, in which the "chaotic repercussions of climate change are an integral part of our daily lives".
