(ANSA) - MOSCOW, FEBRUARY 17 - The Russian Foreign Ministry said it had "summoned the Italian ambassador in Moscow, Giorgio Starace", to whom he expressed "the astonishment of the Russian side at the recent cancellation" of cultural events by artists Russians in Italy.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry adds that it "informed" the ambassador of Moscow's "assessments" regarding "current supplies of arms and military equipment to the Kiev regime, including offensive weapons, training of Ukrainian military personnel and, in general, the line of the West to provoke an escalation of the conflict".
