There are 2,214,466 applications for unemployment benefits that arrived at INPS in 2022 with an increase of 18% on 2021.
This can be read in the Observatory on the INPS layoffs.
In December, requests from Naspi and Discoll totaled 135,054 with an increase of 9.9% on the same month in 2021.
INPS authorized 42.06 million hours of layoffs and solidarity funds in January 2023 with a drop of 9% on December and a decrease of 50.2% on January 2022. This was revealed by the Institute in the Observatory on redundancy fund.
Most of the hours in January were authorized for the extraordinary fund (23,536,684 hours) with a +46.4% on the year while 16,710,92 hours were authorized for the ordinary (-35.8%) and for that in derogation only 22,494.
For solidarity funds, the hours authorized in January were 1,795,407 (-91.9% tendential).
