"This is how it will look": The municipality of Ashdod, through the administration of the city's roof agreement, reveals the simulations of the new arch bridge, the construction of which is currently being planned at a cost of approximately NIS 10 million.

According to the plan, the new arch bridge will be built over Moshe Sena Boulevard, the eastern transportation axis in Ashdod, which runs from the southern entrance to the third district intersection.

The new bridge will allow a quick and safe passage of pedestrians from Square C to the cemetery and to the future development area.

Bodek Architects Ltd., which is responsible for the design of the bridge, states that its design equates to a light and airy appearance, and it will be possible to look from it to the wide expanses of the open landscape that can be seen from it. At night, the bridge will be illuminated, including with internal lighting for pedestrians.

We will remind you that the mayor of Ashdod, Dr. Yehiel Lesri, signed the roof agreement plan several years ago, which will add thousands more housing units throughout the city, as well as provide accommodation for young couples alongside improving and upgrading the infrastructure in the existing quarters. As part of the overall development planned in the city, Employment areas will be established and new areas will be developed, including in the eastern part of the city.

The Arches Bridge will join other architectural landmarks in the city of Ashdod, including the "Spitz" monument in Ilan Ramon Square in the City Quarter, the Ein Hashams statue in the Square in the 10th Quarter, and of course one of the city's symbols - the Sails Statue in the square on Moshe Dayan Boulevard.

The Ashdod Roof Agreement Administration congratulates the progress of the project and the compliance with the planning for the construction of the bridge.
