Richard Gere was hospitalized in Mexico in recent days for pneumonia, but has now been discharged and his conditions are improving.
Tmz reports it, explaining that the actor is on vacation near Nuevo Vallarta to celebrate the 40th birthday of his wife, Alejandra Silva, together with their children.
Before the trip - according to what his wife posted on Instagram - the actor, but apparently also the rest of the family, had a bad cough, rather persistent enough to force him into hospitalization during the holiday.
Now-according to sources consulted by TMZ-Gere he would still be on antibiotics, but would still be improving.
Alejandra posted a photo yesterday on Ig of her showing her with her husband and one of her children as they walk towards a beach to spend - she explains - she "another day at the beach".
