A few days after the return to classes, a school in La Plata was
affected by a fire
and the authorities do not know if they will be able to start the school year of the institution.
Justice is now investigating how the fire started and
whether it was an act of vandalism
.
"This is not the first time this has happened
," said Milagros this morning, a tutor at the Juan XXIII Agrotechnical School, noting that the place has already been the target of several attacks in recent years.
As she explained in an interview on the TN channel, last year there were more
than 50 complaints of attacks
.
The educational establishment is located at 155 between 46 and 49, in the San Carlos neighborhood.
The flames -according to the first experts- would have started on
the thatched roof of a barbecue area
.
The place is attended by 180 students and the authorities questioned whether they will be able to start teaching.
Meanwhile, they are asking for donations to be able to rebuild the spaces destroyed by fire.
The first hypothesis that it was the fire would have been unleashed intentionally, as part of the attacks that the establishment regularly suffers.
In any case, as detailed by the 0221 outlet, the police have so far established that the flames started after midnight on grasslands and trees that surround the property, but they flew due to the effect of the wind and took over the thatched roof.
Now Justice is investigating how it started in the first focus.
