We are shocked: Paul McCartney joins the Rolling Stones Israel today

2023-02-22T18:38:14.922Z

Is this the end of the never-ending debate between the two giant British bands, the Beatles and the Rolling Stones? • In recent weeks, McCartney has been recording a new song with the Rolling Stones, which will be released on the band's next album

It's been quite a few years that music lovers find themselves at least once in their lives having a sharp debate about the question - who is the most important band that emerged in Britain in the 60's - the Beatles or the Rolling Stones?

Now it seems that at least for one song, there will be no need to choose between the two.

This is because according to a report by "Rolling Stone" magazine, Paul McCartney is going to be a guest on the next album by Mick Jagger and his friends.

A source close to the musicians told the magazine that McCartney, one of only two surviving members of the Beatles, will play bass guitar on a new Stones song.

The "Variety" website reported that Ringo Starr, the other Beetles member who is still with us, also played drums on the song, but Heston's source claims that only McCartney is a guest on the track.

McCartney's representatives declined the magazine's requests for comment.

According to reports, the members of the Rolling Stones have spent the last few weeks in a studio in Los Angeles, where they are recording their new album together with producer Andrew Watt (who has worked with names such as Ozzy Osbourne, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone and others).

The legendary group is close to the mixing stage of the record, but at the moment the official release date is not yet known.

This is not the first time in history that a member of the Fantastic Four Milberpool has teamed up with the Rolling Stones.

In August 1967, during the recording sessions for the album "Their Satanic Majesties Request", McCartney and John Lennon joined the members of the Stones and recorded the opening for the song "We Love You" which did not appear on the final version of the album.

Lennon also later played with Stones guitarist Keith Richards, as part of a temporary supergroup called The Dirty Mac that also included Eric Clapton and Mitch Mitchell.
